For the Last 5 Years

Photo by Lidija Fremeau of LAF Lines Photography

No this post has nothing to do with the last 5 years of my life, it's simply the name of a musical production that I think you should all go see. It stars the talented Adam Woosley and Jayna Katz.

The show's press release states that it is a contepeorary song-cycle musical which takes the audience through the five year life of a marriage-from start to finish. It is written by Jason Robert Brown. It will prove to be a  closely intimate look at a relationship from both perspectives.

It is artistically directed by Chip Mezzo and musically conducted by Lora Spangler-Knight. Music will come from a small string ensemble.

Shows are:
July 12, 13, 14 at 8 p.m. and
July 15 at 3 p.m.

All shows will be performed at the Jackson Symphony Orchestra at 215 W. Michigan Ave.

General admission will be $15 at reservations are encouraged. Reserve tickets by emailing forthelast5years.jso@gmail.com
